Lolly Stick Creations

On this page you will find inspiration for many different lolly stick creations. These are not step by step tutorials but detailed photos of each model to help inspire you to build your own. All of the models were built using crafting lolly stick and non-toxic school glue. To colour the models I use vegetable based food dye diluted in water and/or non-toxic (crayola) pencils but you can also use soy paint, all are safe for pets.

WARNINGS!

*Non toxic does not mean edible! It just means if the product is ingested it will not cause any harm however ingesting the product should not be encouraged. If you see your hamster chewing on the glue of a model remove it immediately.

**DO NOT use regular paint on pet supplies. Diluted vegetable food dye and soy paint are both main from natural products and are harmless. Many other paints contain chemicals that could make pets sick if ingested.

Picket Fence

This is the easiest thing to make will lolly sticks but makes a very cute addition to a cage.

Large House With Fence

Tower Bridge

This bridge was originally made for a London themed cage I put together but can be used in any cage design.

The top of each tower was made with grass-paper rolled into a cone shape.

Juliet's Balcony

Made for a Valentine themed cage, Juliet's famous balcony from Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet.

The back could be made a little neater but as this part isn't seen in the cage it doesn't bother me.
