On these pages you will find helpful information on common hamster problems and illnesses. Please note that I am not a qualified vet and this information is not a substitute for actual vet care. If your hamster is ill or you are concerned for their health you must take them to a vet. To leave an ill hamster without vet treatment is a violation of the Animal Welfare act.

 

If you cannot or are not willing to provide medical care for a pet then you should not take on the responsibility of one.
